about-me-1

MY STORY

With a decade of hands-on massage experience, my practice intertwines my professional expertise with my personal journey. I have served many kinds of clients over the years, mostly concentrating on athletes and dancers. In the past two years, amidst profound grief, I've gleaned invaluable insights into the art of slowing down and connecting deeply with oneself. This transformational period has given me a newfound perspective on my craft. The loss of my mother, has been a great catalyst for me seeking educational opportunities which revolve around palliative care and end of life care. We live in a touch deprived society, especially those who are sick and or dying, so I know that my services are of great value. I can help bring some gentle peace.

In my daily life, I'm balancing the challenges of a chronic illness, therefore I safeguard my free moments for essential recovery and rejuvenation. In order to deliver exceptional service, I deliberately limit my client load, ensuring that each session receives the utmost attention and care it deserves.

Throughout my career journey, I have found fulfillment in teaching various disciplines such as yoga, dance, and massage therapy.

I have a strong passion for staying current with the latest research on Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. I've dedicated considerable time to studying various aspects of Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD). In addition, I've delved into Polyvagal theory and the intricacies of the nervous system. I am also a Death Doula.

Beyond work, you'll often find me basking in the PNW sun, engrossed in a fantasy novel, strolling with my dog Hera, bird watching, and dancing to my heart's content, or doing Improv.
